2022-09-28 - Fruit Snacks

Day #0055 (Wed., Sep. 28, 2022) – Total Down: 13.9 lbs.!

2022-09-28 - Weigh InI slept in late and didn’t eat till my noon meal today! Just before I ate I weighed myself and am happy to report that the scale said I weighed 335.9 lbs. (see photo to the left). This is the lowest weight I have been while on this diet! I’ve lost 1.1 lbs. since yesterday and 13.9 lbs. on this diet overall.

2022-09-28 - Potatoes, Chili, SaladFor my first meal of the day I had a delicious salad, and then a chili & mashed potato combo (see photo to the right).  The salad consisted of cabbage, preppers, pickles, lite mayo, and ketchup.

2022-09-28 - CobblerFor dessert I finished up the cherry cobbler that I had in the fridge (see photo to the left).  I added a bit of milk to the dish when I put it in the microwave for a bit of moisture, then added a dollop of whipped cream before I ate it.

2022-09-28 - Donut Ice CreamI also finished off the last “Donut Shaped Ice Cream” that I picked up at Aldi the other day (see photo to the right).  Pretty tasty, but I don’t think I will get them again.  Regular “Arctic Bars” are almost as tasty and are certainly a lot cheaper.

2022-09-28 - Potatoes & ChiliFor my evening meal I had some potatoes & chili (see photo to the left).  Tiny little baked potatoes that I threw into the oven and cooked for 50 minutes and 1/2 can of chili with beans.  Sure stuck to the ribs!

2022-09-28 - Potato ChipsYou know me and my need for something crunchy.  My daughter had a bag of chips in her room this evening and I just had to grab a handful (see photo to the right).  They are so tasty…why do they go so quickly?

2022-09-28 - NutsStill looking for something to munch on, I grabbed a handful of nuts (see photo to the left).  These were the “Honey Roasted” kind.  As was the case yesterday, I put them into a little cup so that I would not overeat…

2022-09-28 - Fruit SnacksMoving on to dessert I thought I would have some “Fruit Snacks” (see photo to the right).  They are actually what we used to call “Jubes”, but I think these are healthier with the “No Artificial” this and that…  Still tasty though…

The great think about getting up late in the morning is that there is less “day” in which to eat… 🙂  The trick is of course to not overeat at the end of the day, which is something I tend to do.  It’s always been that way.  I tend to get more hungry as the sun goes down.  I think it would be better to eat in the morning though as you have the whole day to burn the food off…
