2022-08-19 - Weigh In

Day #0015 (Fri., Aug. 19, 2022) – Total Down: -0.70 lbs.!

2022-08-19 - Weigh InThe scale beamed back 350.5 lbs. this morning (see photo to the left), meaning I’m up past where I was before I started the diet!  0.70 lbs. to be more exact!  Not very good, but expected after the “off the rails” day I had yesterday. No use in crying over spilled milk as they say. Today is another day. Time to do better.

2022-08-19 - OatmealI started off this morning eating a great breakfast. I had a cup of oatmeal with a scoop of protein powder, some chia and flax seeds, soaked in hot water (see photo to the right), which equates to under 500 calories. Since 500 calories is the allotment that I gave myself for breakfast, so I’m off to a great start! Dessert? Yes, sir…a banana!

2022-08-19 - Hashbrowns & CornThat oatmeal this morning really filled me up. So much so in fact that I didn’t eat lunch. I did have an early dinner though, which consisted of some hashbrowns and corn with an ample amount of ketchup (see photo to the left). I had 1/2 of the “air fried” mixture around 6 pm, and finished the rest off at about 8 pm.

2022-08-19 - Arctic BarFor dessert this evening I had a frozen ice cream (see photo to the right).  It sure tasted good!

I had a light rowing session on my rowing machine while I watched the news this evening. Nothing too strenuous, just enough to get the ole’ blood flowing.  I find exercising while I watch the news is a great way to get my exercise in.  After all, I’m just sitting there watching the news anyway.

Before bed this evening I had a nice big mug of coffee with some oat milk!  No dessert tonight… 🙂

So in tallying up the totals for today, I ate about 1500 calories, which is 300 calories below my daily allotment.  When you add this with the 30-minute rowing session, surely the scale will reward me tomorrow morning?  We’ll see…
