I weighed in at 350.5 lbs. this morning (see photo to the left). This means that I’m up 2.4 lbs. since yesterday, and down 1.3 lbs. since I started this diet.
Here’s how I did today! The following rules are based in order of importance…
[Yes/No] Rule #1: Spend your day focusing on something other than food. You will save a lot of time not having to prep during this plan, so what will you spend your time on?
I took the kids out to the local school yard to fly the drone this afternoon.
[Yes/No] Rule #2: I can only eat for 8 hours a day maximum. This means that I will be fasting for a minimum of 16 hours each day.
I started off good, with my first meal after 2pm, but I got hungry in the evening around 11pm… Just outside the 8 hour time limit.
[Yes/No] Rule #3: I [did] [did not] adhere to the following allowed eating guidelines today.
During my eating hours I will be staying away from sugar and bread.
“Steak & Salad” was my first meal of the day, which I had about 2pm this afternoon. I know that chopped steak is a rather cheap cut of meat, but I love it. Especially when you consider the “chew fest” that was the rib eye I had a couple of days ago.
How to wash it down? Why a no-name “Diet Cola” called “Summit” of course (see photo to the left).
For dessert today I had an old reliable “Yogurt, Blueberries & Banana” combo (see photo to the right).
I didn’t eat for most of the afternoon. In fact, I thought I might get by without eating for the rest of the day, but it was not to be. This evening I got into the “Chips” (see photo to the left).
Then I got into the “Chocolates” (see photo to the right). So much for my eating well today!!!
[Yes/No] Rule #4: Each day I will have my daily vitamins.
Yes ma’am, I did take my daily vitamins today.
[Yes/No] Rule #5: I will drink at least 3 cups of water each day.
I drank roughly 3 cups of water throughout the day today.
[Yes/No] Rule #6: I will exercise for 30 minutes each day, whether a cardio or weights or abs workout.
I spent about 10 minutes on the rowing machine this evening. Not the 30 minutes I had hoped, but definitely better than nothing.
[Yes/No] Rule #7: I will spend at least some time doing TM or meditation today.
I did 5 minutes of TM in the living room this evening. Not the 30 minutes I wanted to, but better than 0 minutes.
