I didn’t eat till late in the day today, but just before I did I weighed myself. The scale said that I was 336.8 lbs. (see photo to the left), which means I’m actually up 0.6 lbs. since yesterday, although I am down 13.0 lbs. overall. What’s up with that? I felt for sure that I would be down today given the fact that I had a much smaller eating window yesterday. This just goes to show that you can’t guarantee your weight each day, just follow the plan and you will succeed in the end.
I started off today’s eating with a nice salad (see photo to the right). You can see the ingredients I’m sure, but today’s “special ingredient” was a bit of blueberry goat cheese, which you can see to the bottom right of the photo. It was delish and added that bit of “extra something” to the salad. I will definitely be doing it again.
The nuts in the salad did add a bit of crunch, but I wanted more! So, enter the bag of “Cool Ranch” Doritos (see photo to the left).
Ok, so now you can judge me… 🙂 The wife made some fish & chips for the kids and well, I got into them as well (see photo to the right). You can also see a breaded chicken breast in there as well. More than I should have had, but I think I’m a bit frustrated with my weight being up this morning despite my good eating (relatively) yesterday.
Once you go off the rails it never ends, right? So, I got into the nuts as well (see photo to the left). One handful lead to two handfuls, but at least I did stop at two!
Do you know what time it is? It’s “COBBLER TIME” (see photo to the right. Yes, I got into the “Cherry Cobbler” for my evening dessert (see photo to the right). As a reliable standby I had a dollop of whipped cream on top as well.
For my final food item of the day I had some oatmeal cookies with my evening up of coffee (see photo to the left. Not one, not two, not three, but four cookies! These things are really dangerous as they go down so quickly, especially if you dunk them in your hot coffee! Beware friends!
So, that’s it for today. Tomorrow is another day of fun and games and dieting and “hopefully” exercise. Today was another day of a small eating window, but I certainly didn’t eat as well as I did yesterday. See you at the scale tomorrow morning!
