I weighed in at 336.4 lbs. this morning (see photo to the left). This means that I have gained 1.6 lbs. since yesterday, but on the positive side of the coin I am still down a total of 13.4 lbs. overall.
I started today off with my old reliable “Egg White Sandwich” (see photo to the right). They were so delish in fact that I had two of these tasty little beasts!
For that little bit of “morning crunch”, I had some Doritos, the “Cool Ranch” flavor to be more exact (see photo to the left).
Still hungry, and feeling like I needed something sweet and leaning towards the sweet side of the equation, I downed two bananas next (see photo to the right). I picked up two bunches of them at Aldi the other day so the race is on to eat them before they go bad.
Ok, so the healthy side of the equation didn’t last for long. I had some of the “Fun Dip” I picked up for the kids at Aldi the other day (see photo to the left). This version was “Razz Apple”, whatever that means…
I happened to open the freezer and the “Strawberry Shortcake” ice cream bar (see photo to the right) was calling my name. So, I was happy to oblige.
For my evening meal I started with a salad (see photo to the left). Potatoes & carrots. Pickles, canned beets, and a few carrots. Lite may of course. See those little crunchy bits on the top? Those are jalapeno crispy bits that I picked up at Trader Joe’s a while back. The lid on the can broke, so they have lost some of their crunch, but certainly not any of their heat.
I found this can of “Lentil Vegetable Soup” in the pantry as I was looking for something hearty to eat (see photo to the left). This was actually more hearty than I thought. More like a stew to be more exact. The can didn’t say to add water, so I didn’t. The label says “Authentic German Food”.
I needed something to accompany the soup, so I turned to some PB2 peanut butter powder and bread (see photo to the left). I love the fact that PB2 has no fat…this means I can eat more. Kind of like having your peanut butter without the guilt.
I need to balance the “Strawberry Shortcake” ice cream bar I had earlier in the day with the chocolate version, right? So, I did (see photo to the right). The nuts on the outside add to the crunch appeal… That’s my justification for it at any rate, and I’m sticking to it…
The photo to the left shows two more bananas that I downed as my final meal of the day. The bunch of bananas is getting lower now. I’m pretty sure I will be able to finish them off before they go bad. I might make some cherry cobbler tomorrow, in which case I can add two more bananas.
I’m having some tea this evening as I finish off this blog. I love the fact that tea tends to be more mild in taste than coffee. Something that hits the spot real well.
So much for today. Tomorrow is another day of “Dieting Fun”, if you can call it that… 🙂
