2022-09-13 - Dinner

Day #0039 (Mon., Sep. 12, 2022) – Total Down: 9.50 lbs.!

2022-09-12 - Weigh InI’m not feeling my best these days. Not COVID, but just a cold or something. As a result, I got up late, but when I did get up the scale (as shown in the photo to the left), said that I weighed 340.3 lbs. This means I’m down 1.80 lbs. since yesterday, and 9.50 lbs. since I started the diet 39 days ago!  Almost 10 lbs.!  I will take it!

2022-09-13 - SaladI started off this day’s eating with a nice salad.  Onto a bed of potatoes and Miracle Whip I added some cabbage, carrots, and tomatoes.  A few shakes of the spice shaker and voila, a great meal (see photo to the right).

2022-09-13 - Chocolate NutsFor dessert I had a combination of salty & sweet.  Basically, a little bag of seeds and nuts along with a slice of chocolate (see photo to the left).

As I mentioned previously, I’m not feeling well today.  I wasn’t hungry for most of the afternoon, but this evening, my appetite kicked up.  Am I getting better?  Not sure.  2022-09-13 - DinnerNonetheless I had a wonderful meal that consisted of some mashed potatoes, a beef hamburger patty, a salad, and an A&W diet soda (see photo to the right).  Delish!  Sure hit the spot!

2022-09-13 - ChocolateLet’s move on to dessert.  I picked up this box of chocolates from Aldi and tried one out (see photo to the left).  Not the whole box, just one!  It was strawberry flavor and delicious!

2022-09-13 - ApplesI was still hungry and figured that I should fill up on something healthy.  I could have downed that whole box of chocolates, but that wouldn’t do me well in terms of dieting… 🙂  Sure would have tasted good, but not good for my diet!  So, I settled on a couple of apples (see photo to the right).

2022-09-13 - Arctic BarFor my last meal item today I had an “Arctic Bar” (see photo to the left).  This is what we used to call them when I was growing up, but I guess they just call them ice cream bars these days.  Bigger than the other ice cream bars, and equally 150 calories, but the other “FatBoy” ones taste better.

I’m finishing off this particular blog post and downing a mug of coffee with evaporated milk.

That’s it for today.  See you tomorrow!  Hopefully I will feel better, but I do think that being sick helps you to limit the amount of food you eat…you just don’t feel well.
