I got up late this morning, but when I did the scale said I was 341.9 lbs. This means I’ve lost 1.3 lbs. since yesterday for a total weight loss of 7.9 lbs.
The power went out this morning so I couldn’t cook, bake, or boil anything. I settled upon having a couple of sweet potato with cabbage wraps for breakfast (see photo to the right). Quite delicious actually.
For breakfast I had a banana wrap (see photo to the left). It’s a pretty simple process actually. You just take a peeled banana and wrap it up in a tortilla. It would be better to have it with some peanut butter and honey, but I’m trying to lose weight. Delicious nonetheless.
For lunch today I had quite the meal which really hit the spot. It was a combination of instant mashed potatoes, 1/2 can of beef chili from Trader Joe’s, some sweet corn, ground beef, and a splash or two of hot sauce (see photo to the right). Very filling and delicious!
Now let’s move on to dessert. I had one of the ice cream sandwiches that I picked up from Trader Joe’s last night (see photo to the left). I checked the label after I opened them, and at 370 calories you can’t quite call it a diet food. It sure was delish though!
For my main meal this evening I settled upon a can of cream of chicken soup with some potatoes and ground beef thrown into the mix (see photo to the right). I also had a couple of slices of 45-calorie bread covered with a bit of TJ’s hummus. As this was a “cream” soup it sure stuck to the ribs!
For my evening dessert I had another one of the ice cream sandwiches that I picked up at Trader Joe’s last night (see photo to the left). You would have thought that the 370 calorie label would have had me running in the other direction, but it didn’t… I figured that I ate pretty well for most of today so surely I could get by with this little indulgence. We’ll, I’ve thought that before and the scale has punished me for it… Let’s see what it says tomorrow!
Finishing up the day I had a cup of coffee with some evaporated milk. That’s it for today folks. See you at weighing time tomorrow…
