Well I have some rather good news this morning. I weighed in at: 338.10 lbs., which means I’m down 1.8 lbs. since yesterday, and at my lowest point since the diet began 24 days ago, 9.5 lbs. Celebration is in order… 🙂
The photo to the right shows the Belle Vie carbonated water drink that I pick up at Aldi. This one happens to be lemon flavored, but there are other flavors as well. No sugar or substitute sugar, just carbonated water and natural flavoring. I don’t want to have anything related to sugar for this little test to see if I can get into Ketosis and lose a lot of weight.
I also started to read the book I mentioned the other day, which is Dr. Free’s “The Life Plan”. It’s going to be an interesting read I feel. The next step will be to implement it, which is always the hard part.
Here’s what I had to eat today:
- Onions wrapped in bacon, and sitting on a bed of lettuce, with mayo dressing. Lots of veggies.
- The carbonated Belle Vie that I mentioned previously (see photo to the right).
- One can of smoked herring.
- Four chicken drumsticks sitting on a salad.
I might have overdone it on the chicken drumsticks this evening, but I’m still losing weight, so we’ll see what happens on the scale tomorrow morning.
