I weighed in at 343.60 lbs. this morning (see photo to the left), which means I’m actually up 0.6 lbs. since yesterday, although I am down 6.20 lbs. overall. I have obviously entered a stage where my weight loss has leveled off. I haven’t been exercising regularly, which surely doesn’t help!
I got up late so I didn’t have any breakfast, but I did have a great tasty lunch! For lunch today I had a Chick-Fil-A Cobb Salad (see photo to the right) with some avocado lime dressing on the side to help watch the calories better.
So now let’s move on to the dessert lunch food(s) for today. I started off with an ice cream bar (see photo to the left). They used to call them “Arctic Bars” when I was a kid, but they have all sorts of different names for them these days.
Still trying to satisfy my sweet tooth. Have you ever had Swiss Rolls? You can see those tasty creations in the photo to the right. They are really tasty but not so friendly “calorie wise”. I shouldn’t have had them, but I did… Delish!
Ok, so let’s get back to healthy eating… For my mid-afternoon snack I had a banana (see photo to the left). Lots of potassium, or at least so they say…
Let’s move on to dinner. I started with a salad, a potato salad to be exact. Pretty simple in terms of ingredients. Some potatoes and I sure do love my lite mayo with it (see photo to the right). I wished mayo was not as caloric as it is…but I guess that is why it tastes so good. Oh well, at least I did have the “light” mayo…
Still hungry, I decided to have a hamburger. This sure hit the spot! I don’t know what it is about hamburgers but they are so tasty! I think it might be because I grew up on them. Comfort food for the North American palette you could say. On today’s version I had a slice of swiss cheese (see photo to the right).
I thought that I would have something a bit different for dessert this evening, a banana roll, or at least that’s what I call it (see photo to the left). Basic ingredients really. A banana with some PB2 peanut butter alternative wrapped up in a low-cal wrap. These wraps are from Aldi. Still only 70 calories, but they are not as big as the ones I usually buy.
Well, no exercise today either. Unfortunately I’ve gotten out of the habit of exercising, which is not as good. I need to get back into the habit of it.
