2022-12-24e - Ice Cream

Day #0007 (Sat., Dec. 24, 2022) – Weight: 241.2 lbs., Total Loss: 10.6 lbs., Score: 3/7!

2022-12-24 - Weigh InI weighed in at 241.2 lbs. this morning (see photo to the left). This means that I’m down 0.7 lbs. since yesterday, and 10.6 lbs. since I started this diet.

Here’s how I did today! The following rules are based in order of importance…

[Yes/No] Rule #1: Spend your day focusing on something other than food.  You will save a lot of time not having to prep during this plan, so what will you spend your time on?

Today is the day before Christmas so there was plenty of “stuff” to do, like running around, and wrapping presents.

[Yes/No] Rule #2: I can only eat for 8 hours a day maximum.  This means that I will be fasting for a minimum of 16 hours each day.

I started off good today, starting to eat just after 12 noon, but that extended till 9 pm…  It’s Christmas Eve after all, although that’s not much of an excuse.

2022-12-24a - Breakfast[Yes/No] Rule #3: I [did] [did not] adhere to the following allowed eating guidelines today.

2022-12-24b - Carbonated SodaDuring my eating hours I will be staying away from sugar and bread.

I started off today’s eating pretty well, with a “Big Egg White Breakfast” (see photo to the right).  Lots of turkey bacon, egg whites, and some Aldi keto bread with PB2 and jam.

How did I wash my “Big Egg White Breakfast down?  With a “Carbonated Soda” (see photo to the left) of course!

2022-12-24c - BananaI was equally good in terms of a dessert.  No Greek yogurt today, but a “Banana” (see photo to the right) instead.

2022-12-24d - Cheeseburger MealWell, the evening meal is where I went off the tracks.  I took the kids to McDonalds, and well, we all got  a “Cheeseburger Meal” (see photo to the left).  Enough said…

2022-12-24e - Ice CreamNo leaving well enough alone, I had to have a “McDonald’s Ice Cream” (see photo to the right) for dessert.

2022-12-24f - TrufflesWhen we got home the “bad eating” continued, with some “Chocolate Truffles” (see photo to the left).

[Yes/No] Rule #4: Each day I will have my daily vitamins.

Yes, I did take my daily vitamins today.

[Yes/No] Rule #5: I will drink at least 3 cups of water each day.

I drank just over 3 cups of water throughout the day today.

[Yes/No] Rule #6: I will exercise for 30 minutes each day, whether a cardio or weights or abs workout.

No exercise today.  Along with bad eating, not a great combo!

[Yes/No] Rule #7: I will spend at least some time doing TM or meditation today.

I did 0 minutes of TM or meditation today.  Bad on me…
