How does 340.80 sound? Sounds like a great number to me! So the scale said I weighed in at 340.80 lbs. this morning, meaning I’m down 1.3 lbs. since yesterday, and 6.8 lbs. since I started this diet on Sunday!
For breakfast this morning I thought that I would try something a bit different, so I added some frozen corn into my pancake “mush” and baked it in the air fryer. You can see the result in the photo to the right. Quite delish actually!
My weight was down since yesterday, even after having that little piece of ice cream cake. This made me be a bit more “adventuresome” today, and I worked some low-calorie wraps into the equation. They are only 70 calories each, and what a great thing to wrap potatoes and salad in.
Here’s what I had to eat today:
- As previously mentioned, I started off today’s eating with a “Potato + Corn Cake” (see photo to the right).
- Remember those wraps I mentioned previously? Well, I had two of them for lunch. Inside of each was some homemade hummus, potatoes, and kelp.
- This evening I still hadn’t had enough of the wraps I had at lunch, so I had two more of them.
- Still feeling adventuresome, I had a frozen “fruit” bar for dessert this evening.
- Coffee and some “oat milk” while I worked this article.
Sure hope the scale doesn’t punish me for eating like this today. I guess I will find out early tomorrow morning. The plan was to start off and gradually add a food item each week, and evaluate how it affected my weight, but this is a slight diversion based on how quickly I’ve been losing weight. I might need to go back to the original plan if my weight spikes tomorrow.
