2022-12-11b - With Bologna

Day #0002 (Sun., Dec. 11, 2022) – Weight: 345.2 lbs., Total Loss: 1.8 lbs., Score: 7/8!

2022-12-11 - Weigh InI weighed in at 345.2 lbs. this morning (see photo to the left). This means that I’m down 0.0 lbs. since yesterday, and 0.0 lbs. since I started this diet.

Here’s how I did today! The following rules are based in order of importance…

[Yes/No] Rule #1: Spend your day focusing on something other than food.  You will save a lot of time not having to prep during this plan, so what will you spend your time on?

Still focusing on my new Fiverr business, I put up another gig today.  Having something as tedious as video editing on your plate sure helps you to get your mind off of food… 🙂

[Yes/No] Rule #2: I can only eat for 8 hours a day maximum.  This means that I will be fasting for a minimum of 16 hours each day.

Today’s eating plan was pretty much the exact same as yesterday.  Started just after noon and ended up close to 7:30 pm, so about 7 1/2 hours of eating, under the 8 hours allowed.

[Yes/No] Rule #3: I [did] [did not] adhere to the following allowed eating guidelines today.

During my eating hours I am allowed one of the following choices:

Daily Option #1) [Potatoes] + [one vegetable: carrots, peas, mushrooms, lettuce, cabbage] + [one salad] + [one 100 calorie dessert].

Daily Option #2) [Potatoes] + [three pieces of fruit; apples, oranges, bananas] + [one salad] + [one 100 calorie dessert].

Daily Option #3) [One cheat meal all within one hour] + [one vegetable: carrots, peas, mushrooms, lettuce, cabbage].

Daily Option #4) [No potatoes] + [Only one of these mentioned below (as many times as you want) during the day] + [one salad] + [one 100 cal. dessert]:

a) Egg white sandwich: two slices low calorie bread, egg whites, slice cheese, deli meat.

b) Burrito wrap: one large low calorie wrap, egg whites or deli meat, lettuce.

The following condiments are allowed each day: ketchup, mustard, salsa, 1 tablespoon lite mayo/relish/ketchup dressing.

2022-12-11a - Egg White SandwichI started off today’s eating with a nice egg white sandwich made with a slice of bologna (see photo to the right).

2022-12-11b - With BolognaNext up, a bit later in the day, was another egg white with bologna sandwich (see photo to the left).  You can really see this tasty slice of cheese in this shot.

2022-12-11c - Diet CokeWhat better way to wash down all these delicious egg white sandwiches than with a diet Coke (see photo to the right).  I sometimes drink the “no brand” stuff, but this is the real deal today!

2022-12-11d - Close UpI finished off my third egg white sandwich, and the package of bologna, this evening (see photo to the left).

2022-12-11e - Deli TurkeyTo finish off the day I had another, you guessed it, egg white sandwich.  This time I had a couple of slices of deli turkey (see photo to the right).

[Yes/No] Rule #4: During the 16 hours I am fasting I am allowed zero calorie beverages like tea and coffee with some creamer.  I am also allowed zero calorie sodas and water of course.

I had about 4 cups of coffee with zero-calorie beverage in my “rest hours” today and 2 cans of zero-calorie beverage.

[Yes/No] Rule #5: Each day I will have my daily vitamins.

Nope, I still don’t have the container situation sorted out, so I didn’t take my daily vitamins today.

[Yes/No] Rule #6: I will drink at least 3 cups of water each day.

At least I got this right.  I drank 3 cups of water late this evening.

[Yes/No] Rule #7: I will exercise for 30 minutes each day, whether a cardio or weights or abs workout.

Like yesterday, I spent 30 minutes on the rowing machine while I watched the evening news.

[Yes/No] Rule #8: I will spend at least some time doing TM or meditation today.

I did some TM today while I was putting my son to bed.
