2022-11-27c - Dinner

Day #0001 (Sun., Nov. 27, 2022) – 343.4 lbs, Down: 0.0 lbs., 5/5!

2022-11-27 - Weigh InI weighed in at 343.3 lbs. this morning (see photo to the left). This is the first day of my IM Diet, in which I will be eating within an 8 hour window! Time to get excited!

So, here’s the agenda I have developed for this “IM Diet” I’m starting today.  I plan to adhere to the following rules:

  1. I can only eat for 8 hours a day maximum.  This means that I will be fasting for a minimum of 16 hours each day.
  2. During the 16 hours I am fasting I am allowed zero calorie beverages like tea and coffee with some creamer.  I am also allowed zero calorie sodas and water of course.
  3. Each day I will have my daily vitamins.
  4. I will drink at least 3 cups of water each day.
  5. I will exercise for 30 minutes each day, alternating between: cardio, weights, and abs workouts.

I weighed in at 0.0 lbs. this morning (see photo to the left). This means that I’m down 0.0 lbs. since yesterday, and 0.0 lbs. since I started this diet.

Here’s how I did today!

Rule #1: I can only eat for 8 hours a day maximum.  This means that I will be fasting for a minimum of 16 hours each day.
2022-11-27a - LunchI started eating at 12:10 pm this afternoon and finished eating at 7:00 pm = < 8 hours!
I had two burritos for lunch today.  Beans, corn, and some potatoes with greens wrapped up in a low-cal burrito (see photo to the right).  So delish that I actually had two of them!

2022-11-27b - Dessert1For my lunch time dessert I had some potato sticks with a diet coke (see photo to the left).  I mean if this combo is good enough for Warren Buffet it’s good enough for me.  He’s rich and can afford anything he wants, and he chooses this!  Bring it on!

2022-11-27c - DinnerMy evening meal was not all that healthy, but let’s see how it goes in terms of losing weight.  I mean I’m following the IM diet, so it can’t be that bad for me?  Right?  The scale doesn’t lie so we’ll see how it goes.  This evening I had some chicken tenders with fries and plenty of ketchup (see photo to the right).

2022-11-27d - Wash DownI can actually drink regular calorie soda when I’m within my 8 hour eating window, but I had this zero calorie Pepsi and “down it went” (see photo to the left).  A perfect companion to chicken & chips & ketchup!

2022-11-27e - Lemon CakeTo finish off today’s eating I had a piece of lemon cake for dessert (see photo to the right).  This last food item went down just before 7 pm, so less than 8 hours of eating for me today!

Rule #2: During the 16 hours I am fasting I am allowed zero calorie beverages like tea and coffee with some creamer.  I am also allowed zero calorie sodas and water of course.
I had a cup of coffee with creamer this morning and another one before I went to bed this evening.

Rule #3: Each day I will have my daily vitamins.
Daily vitamins today?  Check!

Rule #4: I will drink at least 3 cups of water each day.
I drank 3 cups of water throughout the day today.

Rule #5: I will exercise for 30 minutes each day, alternating between: cardio, weights, and abs workouts.
This evening I was planning on having a rowing session on my rowing machine, but I ended up playing soccer and basketball outside with my son for 30 minutes this evening.  Good cardio workout!
