Today the scale beamed back at me 337.3 lbs. (see photo to the left), which is way up 2.20 lbs. since yesterday, meaning I have lost 12.1 lbs. so far. I guess today’s weight gain is to be expected as I weighed myself early this morning rather than mid-day.
I started off my eating today with the ole’ reliable “Egg White Sandwich” (see photo to the right). Egg whites to be sure, but also a slice of bacon, a slice of cheese, a tomato and some salad greens between two slices of low-cal bread spread with hummus. These suckers were so delish that I actually had three of them.
For dessert, yes I still had room for dessert after three sandwiches, I had an “Ice Cream Bar” (see photo to the left). The coolness of the ice cream contrasted quite well with the warmth of the sandwiches. We’re running low on ice cream so I’m going to have to make another Aldi run sometime soon.
For dinner this evening I thought I would have a “Burrito” (see photo to the right). I only had enough mixing in the fridge for one of these, but I sure dolled this one up. I even put some hot sauce on it for that extra kick!
I saw this can of “Pea Soup” in the pantry so I thought I would have that. Add some low-cal tortillas with PB2 and you have a nice tasty meal (see photo to the left). You have to be careful with that PB2. It has low if not practically no-fat, but it still has calories…
For my bit of crunch with my evening meal I turned to good ole’ Clancy’s (see photo to the right). Their “Sour Cream & Onion” version to be more exact. I was quite excited about this particular bag because it seemed to have more chips in it and the other bags I’ve had. What’s up with that?
I thought I would be good this evening in regards to dessert. Well, part of the reason is that I couldn’t find the “Oatmeal Cookies”. This turned out great for me because if you can’t find them then you can’t eat them, right? 🙂 Bananas were the dessert of choice (see photo to the left). They are ripening like mad so I have to eat them up!
I’m thinking that I’m going to make a big pot of cabbage soup soon. It’s great for weight loss, but it’s also quite tasty as well…especially the way that I make it…
See you tomorrow at the weigh-in!
