I weighed in this morning at: 345.9 lbs. (see photo to the left), which is the exact same weight as yesterday. Fascinating! After filling myself (and I mean stuffing myself) with plant based and oil-free food like I did yesterday, I’m actually the same weight!
Last night I mixed up some oatmeal with a very ripe banana and some dried cherries (see photo to the right). It mixed all night so it was quite “mushy” this morning, which is what I wanted. I baked them up in the air fryer as I read that this makes some great oatmeal-type cookies. The bad part is that I overcooked them (actually burned them), so not a very good outcome. I will have to try this technique again, but with less time on the air fryer.
I wasn’t very hungry this morning after eating that mess of food I had yesterday. As a result, I didn’t eat anything till lunch time rolled around.
The plan was to eat good today. The bad part is that I took my daughter to McDonalds. I initially thought that I would just get a coffee, but in the end I ended up getting a quarter pounder meal! I did get the diet coke, so I suppose that counts for something.
On the way home we stopped off at Dunkin Donuts for a dozen, and I ended up having a couple of those as well (see photo to the left).
So, not a very good day eating “diet wise”. The good part is, I was wondering if I eat a high calorie meal like the one I had today, but eat really good towards the end of the day. Will I be penalized on the scale the following day? I guess that I will find out tomorrow morning when I weigh myself… 🙂
To finish the day off I did much better eating wise. I had some of the vegetable soup that I made yesterday (see photo to the right).
Just before bed I had a banana and washed it down with my customary huge mug of coffee with some oat milk.
Good day or bad day? I will leave that up to tomorrow. If my weight is up we can chock this little experiment up to being a failure!
