This morning the scale beamed back at me 343.4 lbs. Wow! That’s it! Back to healthy eating! Although I’m up 0.2 lbs. since yesterday, I’m still down 6.4 lbs. since I started the diet. Time to get back down again!
This morning I made a huge pot of “Vegetable Soup” (see photo to the right). You can see the big clump of frozen corn. There is also a can of navy beans in there along with a can of stewed tomatoes. Under the mix is a bag of shredded cabbage that I picked up at Trader Joe’s. I added a package of dehydrated hash browns to the pot later on.
Once the pot was done “stewing” for a while, I had a bowl of the delicious soup (see photo to the left). You can see the hydrated hash browns in this photo. Oh, and you can see the big pieces of cut up mushrooms as well. Forgot to mention that I thew those into the pot as well.
I did have a can of zero calorie “Mountain Dew” as well (see photo to the right). I pick up a dozen cans of this, along with my other soft drinks, at Harris-Teeter, to save money!
Soup, soup, soup, soup… That was pretty well it for today. I wanted to get back on to the track of eating healthy, and there is nothing like a bowl of vegetable soup to do this. You can see another bowl of the delicious stuff in the photo to the left.
So, there is not much else to say about today. I had a couple more cans of zero calorie soda, and quite a few bowls of the vegetable soup. Kind of boring in terms of eating, and pictures to show you, but sometimes this is what it takes to lose weight.
See you tomorrow! Surely the scale will reward me for being so good today, right?
