2023-03-21 - Black Eyed PeasMy weight was way up to 343.6 lbs. since yesterday. Guess I can thank the whole bag of potato chips for that. So I’m up 1.5 lbs. since yesterday but still down 4.0 lbs. overall.

The photo to the right shows some “Black Eyed Peas” that I had with my “Big Breakfast” this morning.  I was reading that beans are a great way to get more protein into your life, so why not!  Oh, I should add, they are called “peas” but they are actually “beans”, as you can clearly see…  Not sure why they call them peas…

Here’s what I had to eat today:

  • “Big Breakfast” with black eyed peas (see photo to the right).
  • Diet cola.
  • Low-carb wraps (2 of them), with turkey and cheese.
  • Hearty vegetable soup.
  • Diet cola.
  • Aldi bread with peanut butter.
  • Coffee with oat milk.

I didn’t have any dessert today, which you can see…  Let’s see if the scale rewards me for this tomorrow!
