I weighed in at 341.9 lbs. this morning (see photo to the left), which is the same weight as yesterday. This means that I’m down 0.0 lbs. since yesterday, and 9.9 lbs. since I started this diet six days ago.
Here’s how I did today! The following rules are based in order of importance…
[Yes/No] Rule #1: Spend your day focusing on something other than food. You will save a lot of time not having to prep during this plan, so what will you spend your time on?
We are cleaning up the basement so I spent a lot of time today shredding old documents that I have accumulated over the years.
[Yes/No] Rule #2: I can only eat for 8 hours a day maximum. This means that I will be fasting for a minimum of 16 hours each day.
My total eating window today was 8 hours, from 12:15 pm to 8:15 pm.
[Yes/No] Rule #3: I [did] [did not] adhere to the following allowed eating guidelines today.
During my eating hours I will be staying away from sugar and bread.
Just after noon today I started eating some “Egg Whites & Turkey Bacon” as my first meal of the day (see photo to the right). I had a couple of loaves of Aldi keto bread and some PB2 as well.
For dessert I had some “Vanilla Greek Yogurt & Blueberries” (see photo to the left). I sure do love vanilla flavor!
I had a burrito as a mid-afternoon snack (see photo to the right). I know that I should be staying away from bread and burritos, but I “think” this is different. I read the ingredients list and there is no added sugar. This should be fine, right? If I don’t lose weight then I will have to cut these out as well…
This evening I had a fine meal of “Steak & Hash Browns” (see photo to the left). I added some ketchup as a topping, but I’m not sure if I will regret this…
For my last dessert of the day I had a nice dish of Greek yogurt with a banana and some blueberries (see photo to the right). Blueberries are fine, but bananas are a bit higher on the glycemic index… But I had only one, so that should be fine, right? Let’s see on the scale tomorrow!

Yes, I took my daily vitamins today.
[Yes/No] Rule #5: I will drink at least 3 cups of water each day.
Yes, I drank 3+ cups of water throughout the day today.
[Yes/No] Rule #6: I will exercise for 30 minutes each day, whether a cardio or weights or abs workout.
No working out today. Let’s see if I can lose weight on this diet without exercising shall we?
[Yes/No] Rule #7: I will spend at least some time doing TM or meditation today.
