I weighed in at 341.9 lbs. this morning (see photo to the left). This means that I’m down 1.7 lbs. since yesterday, and 9.9 lbs. since I started this diet.
Here’s how I did today! The following rules are based in order of importance…
[Yes/No] Rule #1: Spend your day focusing on something other than food. You will save a lot of time not having to prep during this plan, so what will you spend your time on?
Well the stock market tanked, so I decided to buy those “Santa Claus Rally” stocks today… Took a while to put them all in, but let’s hope this was a wise move… 🙂
[Yes/No] Rule #2: I can only eat for 8 hours a day maximum. This means that I will be fasting for a minimum of 16 hours each day.
I started eating after noon, and finished around 7:30 pm, so 7.5 hours of eating today.
[Yes/No] Rule #3: I did adhere to the following allowed eating guidelines today.
During my eating hours I will be staying away from sugar and bread.
Just after noon today I started my first meal, which was a “Steak & Salad” (see photo to the right). That rib eye steak that I got at Aldi was not very tender. I’m not sure if it’s the nature of this steak type, but I had to cut it up into little pieces or I would still be chewing it… 🙂
For my dinner meal I thought I would experiment a bit and have some potatoes, hash browns actually, with some steak (see photo to the left). They are not as low on the glycemic index as other vegetables, but let’s see if this causes me weight gain. Tomorrow’s scale will be the test.
I thought I would have some “Yogurt & Bananas & Raspberries” (see photo to the right). Bananas, like the potatoes, is something I’m not 100% sure of, but I guess the scale will tell me tomorrow morning!
[Yes/No] Rule #4: Each day I will have my daily vitamins.
Yes, I took my daily vitamins today.
[Yes/No] Rule #5: I will drink at least 3 cups of water each day.
Yep, I drank 3+ cups of water throughout the day today. Some days you are more thirsty than other days, and today I was thirsty.
[Yes/No] Rule #6: I will exercise for 30 minutes each day, whether a cardio or weights or abs workout.
No exercise today. I guess this will tell me if this diet will work without exercising…
[Yes/No] Rule #7: I will spend at least some time doing TM or meditation today.
I did 0 minutes of TM or meditation today.
