This morning I weighed in at 335.5 lbs. This means I’m down 1.1 lbs. since yesterday, and 12.1 lbs. since the diet began.
The photo to the right shows the diet cola that I’ve been getting at Aldi. Cheaper than Diet Coke, but pretty much the same in my view. Something like this makes a great little addition to your daily diet when you are eating nothing but stew… As long as it doesn’t spike your desire for other sweet things like cookies and cakes.
Another problems with soda drinks like this is that it prevents you from drinking a lot of water. Not that you have to, but if you drink one you can’t drink the other, at least at the same time.
I put some chili powder into the stew and it really upped the flavor!
Here’s what I had to eat today:
- Three bowls of vegetable chili.
- Two diet colas (see photo to the right).
- Coffee with oat milk.
I’m continually amazed at how my cravings go away when I get rid of sugar. I had cravings earlier in the week when I ate only potatoes, but there is something about this stew that seems to take my dieting to a whole new level. In some way it just seems “hearty” and “filling”…
I’ll see you tomorrow at the scale. I’m hoping my weight will be “WAY DOWN”…
