This morning the scale told me that I weighed 340.3 lbs. (see photo to the left). Good! Eating all that vegetable soup yesterday did the trick! Back on track! I’m down a whopping 3.1 lbs. since yesterday, and I’m down 9.5 lbs. overall!
For starters today I had some “Baked Potatoes” (see photo to the right). A few sprays of low-calorie butter spray, some pepper, and you’re good to go. I don’t know what it is about potatoes, but they sure seem to fill you up.
To wash the potatoes down I had some “Coffee With Creamer” (see photo to the left).
For lunch today I had a couple of my famous “Egg White Sandwiches” (see photo to the right). A couple of slices of lettuce added to the taste and appearance. I can’t believe how low calorie egg whites are. It’s the yolks that you have to be careful of.
What did I have to wash down these sandwiches? “Cheerwine” was the beverage of choice today (see photo to the left).
For dinner this evening I had a delicous plate of potatoes with a can of tuna (see photo to the right). Some lite mayo sure adds to the taste of the tuna. Not too much though… I am on a diet! 🙂 When you get canned tuna make sure you get the “solid” rather than the “chunk”. Chunk tuna looks too much like cat food for my pleasure…
I bought this “Funnel Cake Mix” at Aldi this afternoon (see photo to the left). My wife was making a couple of funnel cakes for the kids so I thought that I would try one out as well. It wasn’t as sweet as I thought it would be. Is it the icing sugar that makes them seem so sweet?
Ok, so that funnel cake was not all that healthy was it? I will try to counteract it with an “Apple & Banana” (see photo to the right).
I thought I would eat healthy today and for the most part I did… That funnel cake was an abberation, but hopefully the scale will not punish me too much tomorrow!
