The scale beamed back brightly the numbers 339.2 lbs. this morning (see photo to the left). So, I’m down 0.5 lbs. since yesterday, and 10.6 lbs. overall.
A great new find as of late is the various types of flavored Keto breads that Aldi sells. For example, this morning I had their version of “Cinnamon Toast” (see photo to the right). It was fine on itself, no toppings or anything. I did have a cup of coffee with it though.
To follow up the toast I had a wonderful salad (see photo to the left). I grated up some cabbage and added olives to this version. The dressing of choice was some lite mayo. Aldi sold these little fried onion pieces, so I had some of those as well.
For that bit of crunch I got into the “Clancy’s Cheese Curls” I picked up at Aldi the other day (see photo to the right). Not quite as good as the Cheeto’s version, but tasty none-the-less.
“Hash browns & Corn” was on the agenda for dinner this evening (see photo to the left). The air fryer makes it easy. Lots of pepper and even more ketchup were the condiments.
This evening I got back into the Aldi specialty Keto breads. Tonight’s version was “Blueberry” (see photo to the right). I thought I would add some apricot jam to this toast, but I’m sure that it would have been equally delish on it’s own.
I managed to get some exercise in again today. This evening I spent 25 minutes on the rowing machine while I watched the news. Gradually getting into incorporating exercise into my daily life, which is good.
I didn’t really eat too bad today, but I do notice that my weight “hovers” in this range without going down much. I think that I’m going to have to be even tougher on myself moving forward. No ice cream, or cookies, or “treats”, just low-cal food and even perhaps soups and salads. I’ll give it a bit longer to make this decision though, but let’s see what the scale tells me tomorrow morning.
See you then!
